EMDR

In our EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) sessions, we’ll work together to process distressing memories and experiences that may be affecting your emotional well-being. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that uses bilateral stimulation typically in the form of guided eye movements to help your brain reprocess past trauma or negative experiences in a way that reduces their emotional charge.

We’ll begin by identifying the specific memories or experiences that are troubling you and the negative beliefs you may have about yourself as a result. Through a series of structured steps, you’ll be guided to reprocess these memories, allowing you to let go of the emotional distress associated with them. This process can help reduce symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, and other emotional struggles.

Throughout our work together, we’ll also focus on strengthening your coping skills and creating positive beliefs that empower you.
